Keith Low
Programme Consultant
Since young, Keith has always enjoyed exploring, learning and imparting. Outgoing in nature and zealous to discover about cultures and lifestyles of different countries, he embarks regularly on enriching educational trips in Singapore, Asia and beyond.
Keith is also widely connected to many people from other countries. During his National Service, he served in the Republic of Singapore Navy and had sailed to countries such as East Malaysia, Thailand and China. As a result, he was privileged to be hosted by the locals. This had helped him develop an appreciation of the various cultures and customs.
While he was still an undergraduate in the University of Queensland, he had organised numerous road trips to villages, towns and cities. Overnight camps, farms visits, factories tours, chemical plant tours and cultural exchanges were part and parcel of those meaningful undergraduate days. For every trip he embarked on, he made a point to embrace the beauty of nature and people. Because of his enthusiasm to interact and help others, he was nominated as the orientation manager in one of the student clubs on campus. his responsibilities included helping new students adapt to the university’s routine and lifestyles, organising activites for students to make friends and network and promoting multi-culturalism and friendship beyond nations.
Keith is also a compassionate person. Over the years, he has gone on mission trips to cities in Mauritius, Israel and Australia to help the less fortunate and under privileged. From these trips, he has learnt to appreciate life a lot more. An advocate of experiential learning, he is convinced that learning must never be confined by the four walls of a classroom. Therefore, he is always ready to instruct, impact and inspire students in their holistic learning experience through meaningful trips which are carefully crafted to meet learning objectives.
Keith obtained his Bachelor of Engineering (Chemical) Honours IIA from the University of Queensland, Brisbane, Australia.
