In this series, students experience and learn how pieces of music are composed through ideas, theoretical methods, calculations, and a pen. This course focuses on helping students appreciate academic subjects through the use of music.

| This course uses lyrics in popular songs to promote the appreciation and love of the English and Chinese language. Students will learn about rhymes, metrical patterns, the use of metaphors, word repertoire and vocabulary used in lyrics to create the desired emotional or intellectual effect on listeners. |

| In this course, students learn the relationship between music and mathematics. Basic musical notation and music theory will be introduced, following that, mathematical concepts such as fractions, divisions, additions, consecutive numbers, proportions, ratios and exponential relationships will be linked to musical theory using examples and exercises. |
