Eric Lee

A multiple-award winner and excellent educationist in both the academic teaching field as well as in the aesthetics arena, Eric’s vast experiences include being a Senior Lecturer, Subject Head and Head of Department for Student Development at Raffles Junior College. He was awarded a Distinction for his Post-Graduate Diploma in Education, has been nominated for the Singapore President Teacher’s Award and has been cited by US Ivy League Cornell University’s Merill Presidential Scholar as a “maestro of the teaching profession”, and consequently awarded the Outstanding High School Teacher Award by Cornell University. In the field of music, Eric is an accomplished musician and a multiple-award winner of local and regional music awards. He has written, arranged and produced three critically acclaimed gospel music albums under the Cornerstone Music label that has sold more than 7000 copies in the region.

He was the overall champion of the Taiwan Young Stars Music Competition, sweeping all awards including ‘Overall Champion’, ‘Best Arrangement’, ‘Best Composition’, ‘Honourable Mention’, beating bands from Singapore, Hong Kong and Taiwan and clinching a record deal with Rock Records (Taiwan). Eric is also a full member of the International Association of Jazz Education (US) and the Music Teachers National Association (US) and a much sought-after music consultant/trainer/performer/guest artiste. Eric has vast professional music performing experiences in Tokyo, Manchester, Cambridge, LA, etc. and is a also chief trainer and director at Northwood Music, educating students the wonderful art of popular and jazz music improvisation.
