Performance Texts Alive! |

| This workshop can be customised to develop students to bring their text alive from page to stage. They will recreate a short performance text based on their school literature books or known stories to dramatise it with basic acting skills and performance forms. Finally, they will learn to stage the skit and perform it to each other in the form of a ‘workshop’ performance in a combined classroom setting. Character value, Self-Esteem, will be infused throughout the training. A certificate of participation will be given to each student. |

| This workshop helps develop students to look at stimulus such as lyrics, poetry, pictures, news articles and known stories to discuss and explore issues/themes to learn to recreate a short performance text. They will then learn to dramatise the story with basic acting skills and performance forms. Finally, they will learn to stage the skit and perform it for one another in a combined classroom setting. Development of character value, Self-Esteem, throughout the training. A certificate of participation will be given to each student.
