Civic and Social Education

CASE001 Service Learning
Service learning is the integration of meaningful community service with guidance and reflection in order to teach civic responsibility and encourage lifelong social engagement. Beyond being actively engaged in the project, participants will have the opportunity to select, design, implement, and evaluate their service activity, encouraging relevancy, sustaining interest and developing the self-confidence to voice their concerns.
CASE002 Cyber-wellness
(Internet Safety)
Cyberwellness encompasses concerns around safety and security online and deals with people’s psychological and emotional well being as they log on to the internet. This course, in keeping up with today’s social changes, aims to educate participants on the latest skills in protecting oneself from online predatory influences, cyber-bullying, chatroom dating, online pornography/gaming/gambling, ‘phishing’ sites and so on.
CASE003 Anti-Bullying
The Anti-Bullying program helps to identify what is bullying, and the different categories that include physical, mental, and emotional. The results and consequences of bullying will be discussed, and tips and some solutions will be provided to students.
