AF001	Develop Creativity through Magic

When students pick out magic tricks and routines to impress their peers, you can expect them to be excited about the process of learning, and grow in confidence and selfesteem. Their creativity will be stretched when they have to apply their skills to put up a performance that incorporates event planning and communication skills.

AF002	Photo-Journalism
(All Levels)
The art of combining powerful images and choice words to convey a message requires an eye for design, perspective and a sense of creative adventure. This course exposes students to this art and at the end of it they will find themselves more skilful in digital photography and expository writing. They will have fun working with words and images and derive great satisfaction from this

AF003	Poetry & Music
(All Levels)
This is a perfect course to turn students on to poetry. Popular music and lyrics will be used to analyse poetic devices such as rhyme and rhythm, imagery, onomatopoeia, personification, alliteration, metaphors and similes. Underlying social messages for selected songs will be analysed and followed by sharing sessions, journal writing and finally poetry writing.

AF004	E-Journalism
(All Levels)
By integrating Information of Communication Technology (ICT) into English Language, students get to learn the technical aspect of video production such as basic camera techniques (shot sizes, composition and framing) as well as journalistic writing, editing and interviewing skills. At the end of the course, students will be able to produce a video production that either highlights a specific school event or explores an issue that is of concern to them.

Here’s a chance for students to outrun, outsmart and outlast one another through hours of non-stop fun-filled language activities and energetic games and teambuilding exercises that promise to bring fun, laughter and challenge to the learning process. The Race will effectively reinforce the values of Efficiency, Effectiveness and Excellence.

AF006	Creative Journaling through Scrapbooks
(All Levels)
Recording and preserving memories of special milestones, exciting school events and even everyday happenings can be exciting and creative. Using a basic template and appropriate paper scraps, students are taught how to create a sizeable album with relevant journal entries to chronicle important events and preserve precious emotions.

AF007	English Study & Play Camp
(All Levels)
This unique camp provides a motivating environment that will boost the morale of students who desire to improve on their study skills. There will be numerous interactive activities that help students discover their preferred learning styles, enhance memory skills as well as pick up better revision and note-taking strategies during the Study Segments. In the Play Segments, there will be a series of teambuilding activities that aims to build students’ confidence and connectivity.
